Lonely Life Session

A table for one cause I'm alone once again.
To be solo so long you'd think would be a sin.
Not that I can blame you for what am I
But just another waste away for you to pass by.
I'll sit with my glass and I'll drink to the day
When I meet another soul who won't view me with dismay
For it takes one to know one in our silent depression.
Maybe one day our title will leave an impression
And our pain and our woes won't become an obsession
As we sit and we ponder our only life session.
But for now, we sit quiet and we dare not to speak
For it's not in our nature for companionship to seek.
